I urged you to boost your intake of whole foods&#8211;real fruits and vegetables that are so readily available now in the farmers markets of our northern hemisphere.<\/p>\n<p>Eliminating sugar-and-calorie-rich, nutrition-poor junk and processed foods from your diet and replacing them with actual food produces real results: in your energy levels, appearance, and overall good health.<\/p>\n<p>You will:<br \/>\n\u2022\t<strong>Have more energy<\/strong> because you\u2019ll be giving your body the nutrition it needs to function efficiently.<br \/>\n\u2022\t<strong>Ease PMS and perimenopause symptoms<\/strong> when you eliminate the junk from your diet.<br \/>\n\u2022\t<strong>Increase the feel-good serotonin in your brain<\/strong> and tolerate stress better.<br \/>\n\u2022\t<strong>Be smarter.<\/strong> The antioxidants in the fruits and veggies help improve memory and will make you feel mentally sharper.<br \/>\n\u2022\t<strong>Improve digestion,<\/strong> with all the fiber from that fresh produce.<br \/>\n\u2022\t<strong>Start looking more vibrant<\/strong> as your skin, hair, nails, muscles, and eyes benefit richly from the essential fatty acids, amino acids, vitamins, and antioxidants.<br \/>\n\u2022\t<strong>Reduce your chances of developing degenerative diseases<\/strong>, such as heart disease, Parkinson\u2019s disease, macular degeneration, high blood pressure, diabetes, and arthritis.<br \/>\n\u2022\t<strong>Stay younger longer.<\/strong> You\u2019ll be slowing the rate at which you age because of antioxidant-rich food choices.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In my last health tip we discussed the damaging effects of all the sugar we\u2019re eating.
