Thursday, September 20, 6-7:30pm
Join Katie Oberlin, shamanic healing practitioner, and Mari Stecker, licensed acupuncturist, for a special evening of healing in preparation for the autumn equinox.
In both Traditional Chinese Medicine and shamanism, autumn is a time to celebrate the harvest. This pertains to crops as well as other things that we grow and nourish such as ideas, dreams, relationships, our bodies, and the fruits of our labors.
It is also a time of change as the living world begins to wind down and we reflect inward on our life’s path. There is great potential for healing as we release what no longer serves.
This event is sure to be a unique opportunity to experience the ancient traditions of acupuncture and shamanic healing blended into an evening of relaxation and renewal.
After a shamanic opening ceremony, participants will receive an acupuncture treatment to encourage deep relaxation. The evening will continue with other features of shamanism including healing songs, drumming and other energetic clearing and alignment techniques. We’ll end the evening with a closing ceremony and time for integration to support moving forward with health, vitality and gratitude.
You will be lying on yoga mats so please bring a pillow and blanket to ensure your comfort.
Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Registration online only.
