Marcy has been studying the science of nutrition and living a whole foods lifestyle for more than 20 years. Her passion for using nutrition to affect the wellbeing of herself, her family and her friends blossomed into a career.
Formally, she holds a Masters of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, a Masters in Business Administration from the NorthwesternUniversity Kellogg School of Management, and a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois. She is a Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist (CCN), Board Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) and an Illinois Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN). Using both her formal education and life experiences, she shares her knowledge with clients to help them experience the benefits of nutritional therapy. Marcy speaks to groups and organizations covering nutrition topics from “Small Steps to Better Health” to “Transforming Behavior through Food.”

Marcy works closely with the WholeHealth Chicago practitioners to assess your nutritional needs while considering chronic health disturbances and to define an individualized nutritional program designed to achieve your health and wellness goals. Using both the information you provide and lab tests such as blood cholesterol, organic acids, neurotransmitters and hormones, and stool profiles; Marcy is able to assist you in understanding and transitioning to an improved nutritional lifestyle. Your nutritional protocol may include food additions, food eliminations, food preparation guidelines, supplemental nutrient support and lifestyle modifications. Marcy specializes in assisting clients to incorporate nutrition and lifestyle changes to address conditions such as diabetes, gastro-intestinal issues, fibromyalgia and autoimmune conditions, heart disease, metabolic syndrome, Parkinson’s disease and weight loss.
Through regular attendance at health and nutrition seminars and webinars, Marcy stays current on the latest nutritional research and theories.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
The first appointment includes listening to and understanding your concerns, needs, and symptoms along with interpreting lab results in order to create a unique nutritional protocol designed to move you toward your health and wellness goals. Your first visit is thorough, and you will leave feeling confident to begin your individualized nutrition program. Follow-up visits will keep you on track while also providing additional nutrition assessment, support and education.
Marcy can take you on a personalized grocery shopping tour making specific recommendations to address your wellness goals. She’ll also “make-over” your pantry to guide you on stocking your kitchen with nourishing, yet delicious options.
